Goodbye 2008 and hello 2009! Wow, it's the year end already. So much has happened to me in the past year. I've turned a year older and wiser. I've grown so much emotionally. I guess with every mistake and every significant event in my life this past year, I've learned a whole lot. With those learnings, I am confident to say that I'm welcoming the new year with a whole new persona and attitude towards life. My new year's resolutions have been drafted and I'm ready for a fresh new start. So tonight, as I count the seconds away towards greeting the new year, I am toasting a great year ahead. Happy New Year everyone! ![]()
The next area will be the Meadow which also an ideal place to hunt for beginners.
When enough points have been reached, from novice to apprentice, hunters can now begin to venture out to breathe in the salty air of the Harbour.
From apprentice to journeyman, the next level up allows a hunter to go the Mountains. Here the mice are more crafty and they drop more gold.
Here are the mice available in this region:
So far, I've caught most of the mice here except for the mole mouse and the special mice (leprechaun and mobster).
The four-leaf clover is probably the most common symbol for luck. It's not sure when the depiction was started but according to one legend, when Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden, Eve took along a bit of clover. It is said that when you have a clover in your hand, you're holding a bit of paradise. To the English, "to live in clover" means "to have enough money to be able to live comfortably." This is probably why the four-leaf clover is closely associated with the leprechauns of the Irish. Each leaflet represents something: One - Hope, Two- Faith, Three - Love and the Fourth leaf - Luck. It's very uncommon to find a four leaf clover, it's another factor why it has been deemed lucky.
My family will be spending Christmas at Quezon province like we do each year. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
There was actually a VOX Question of the Day I wanted to answer the other day, it was about who you would miss most this Christmas. Well, you know who you are. You know that I'm missing you a whole lot.
Oh well, my Christmas might be a little too cold but I'm really glad I'll be with my family. They will help chase the holiday blues away. Again, wishing your holidays will be the best yet.
What do you do when you feel betrayed by a very important person in your life? How will you be able to discern the truth from the lies? How will you bounce back? How will you be able to trust again? Frankly I'm at a loss. Have I been too gullible all this time? Have I been too trusting? What did I do wrong to deserve this?
If anybody knows any answer to my questions, do please let me know.
