I had a business meeting held at Kopi Roti Katipunan last week. I’ve only been there twice before and this is only the first time I’ve noticed a few things.
Cons
There’s not much parking space available. Upfront there are only 4 to 5 slots available, given the amount of seating space they’ve allotted inside, most of their customers will be forced to park along the streets. Although Katipunan is a fairly wide main road, still there is no guaranteed safety for the customers and their cars. Plus since it’s along a main road, cars whiz by very fast at all times of the day.
During the time we were there, the split airconditioning unit that they had was leaking pretty profusely, they had to get several buckets to catch the dripping water. They should have had this repaired immediately as the problem arose. It’s an eyesore to customers.
Of course, when you’re in a meeting sometimes we had to use our laptops to show some presentations or documents that we didn’t have a printed copy of, sadly enough…there weren’t enough convenience outlets inside. So if you’re going there, you’d have to bring a fully charged laptop.
Pros
The food was good! I loved their coffee (called Kopi) and their soft boiled egg concoction. It was served in special soya sauce and I loved it.
Their wifi is fast although I got disconnected a few times but still much better than the wifi in some popular coffee shops.

The interior could do remodelling soon. The style is quite quaint bordering on country influences. It’s pretty quiet there especially during the afternoons, so if you’re looking for a place to just hang out and gab the day away, this can be a good venue. But if you’re planning to get some work done which requires you to stay for quite a number of hours, I suggest someplace else.
