I suspected that it had something to do with the previous custom theme I installed because my other tumblog was working quite fine. Although it worked fine for several weeks. I mentioned this to the support team. I explained in detail what happens everytime I try to access my customization options. Well in 15 minutes he came up with a solution, or so I thought. Well what he suggested wasn't much of a help at all, so I took screenshots to describe in detail what my problem was. You know the answer I got back? He just plainly told me that I had to figure it out for myself. WTF! This really irritated me. I mean they were there as help support weren't they? What if I didn't know my way around computers? What if I didn't have any background on CSS? This was really frustrating.

So there I followed my instincts and I tried several ways to try to change my theme or at least revert it to the original ones provided in the official site. Fortunately I stumbled upon a theme site which automatically installs the theme without me ever having to access my customization options page. And viola! Just as I thought, it really was in the code of the custom theme that was redirecting my tumblog to an ad site. Take that Mr. Tumblr support. You really weren't any help at all.
Don't get me wrong, I will still continue to use Tumblr in spite of this incident. I just wish they offered much more efficient tech support teams.

Ahhh! Help me! This is happening to one of my tumblogs and it's so annoying! What website did you find that uploads automatically?
Thanks in advance!
Hi! oh no. It's becoming rampant. Do a search in google for Theme Garden or you can type the url http://www.tumblr.com/themes/ in your browser. They have the automatic install option. I hope this helps.
