Philips GoGear event

I was lucky enough to get invited to the Philips GoGear event last Saturday, June 6, 2009 as one of the Bloggers. The event was the official launch for GoGear product line of MP3 players from Philips. I got to Boni High Street at around 7pm and the event was well underway. We were briefed by the brand manager by a slide show of the products and they showed us exactly what set them apart from the other MP3 players available in the market today.

As an added treat, the event was filled with performances from streetdancers and a mini-concert by Techy Romantics, Cookie Chua and Taken by Cars. I loved the sound of Techy Romantics! It was definitely a fresh new sound for me. I'm going to check out their online site and review their music and post it soon. Cookie Chua is of course already an icon and her voice is unbelievable live. The highlight of the night was the performance by Taken by Cars and it was the first time I heard of their music and I'm converted now into a fan.

The highlight of "my" night though was winning a Philips GoGear Aria. Whoopie! Check out my review here.
