The movie stars Alison Lohman as Christine, a pretty young bank loan officer doomed to be cursed by a gyspy named Mrs. Ganush. Christine is helped along the way by her fiance, Clay (Justin Long). The plot of the story took us on a wild rollercoaster ride on how Christine sought ways on how to counteract the curse.
If you're looking for hair-raising, and scream-inducing moments then this movie is not for you. Raimi reminds us how fun it is to be scared to death. I was squeamish about several parts of the movie involving dentures, eyeballs and lots and lots of saliva.
The movie was quite entertaining, honestly I thought it would be a flop but Raimi has proven once again that he still hasn't lost his touch on horror flicks. Hmmm, I was almost hoping for a Bruce Campbell cameo but there was none. Drag me to hell was fun plus it also helps when you have a Sam Raimi fanatic watching beside you.
