Late Night Alumni

517B- NYJnL._SS400_ I became acquainted with Late Night Alumni's music through my cubicle mate, Jon during my days at Archion. They were a constant in his playlist. During those long afternoons that we had to deal with grueling construction details and 3ds, he would turn on his chillout and house playlist. Since most of the music group's songs are on the Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound albums, they were always a staple at clubs where they play house music.

Late Night Alumni is a collaboration between Ryan Raddon and Finn Bjarnson (members of the legendary Salt Lake City based deep house duo Kaskade), string musician John Hancock, and vocalist Becky Williams. The upbeat sounds in the album are mostly due to the influence of Kaskade but at the most part, the down tempo and soulful style of the group makes for a unique sound that is just delightfully "sweet".

I find their music great not just for chilling out but also a great pick-me upper during those inevitable somber moods. The track list includes:

1. Seemingly Sleepy

2. Rainy Days

3. Empty Streets

4. The Rest Of You

5. Sunrise Comes Too Soon

6. Eros

7. Keep Up With Me

8. Heaven

9. Beautiful

10. Meant To Be

11. All For Nothing

12. Nothing Left To Say

My must listen to songs from the above list includes: Seemingly Sleepy, Empty Streets, Keep Up with Me, Beautiful and of course my favorite Meant to Be.

All of their songs are great to listen to, if you want to have a taste of it, preview them here.
