Cocktails for me please

These are my two favorite cocktails. Whenever I'm out with my friends, these are what I usually order. I’m not a big beer drinker although I can last through 3 bottles easy, but then it just tastes bitter after that. That’s probably why I haven’t developed any liking for it.

Just last Friday I had some pretty good Mojitos at Texas Roadhouse Grill while gabbing the night away with Anjsh and Derob. We talked about everything that came with the flow of conversation. It felt good to be able to release some stresses and air out my problems to two good friends. Anyway, I just thought that I'd recommend these to my readers during a night out. Here's a little background info on these drinks.

Mai Tai

maitai It was invented at the Trader Vic's Polynesian-style restaurant in Oakland, California in 1944 by Victor J. Bergeron for some friends who were visiting from Tahiti. The name literally means "good very!" or "out of this world!" Now that's something huh? Well as the name itself implies, it tastes pretty good. The color is very delightful as well. The drink is usually mixed from gold rum, dark rum, triple sec, lime juice, Orgeat syrup with a garnish of maraschino cherry, pineapple and a mint sprig.

Mojito

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA It is a Cuban drink made up of six ingredients, white rum or vodka, sugar, lime, sparkling water, ice and mint. It's the perfect summer drink because the citrus and minty blend is just right to compensate for the overpowering kick of the rum.

Thanks Wikipedia for the reference information.
