Missing my sister

Today was declared a special non-working holiday because today was the burial of the late president Cory Aquino. Everyone's home, me, my dad and my mom...everyone except my sister. She's in her dorm spending the day studying. She's taking up medicine and she will be staying in the dorm while finishing her studies. I miss her.

Before, when it's a holiday..we'd usually spend the day in front of the tv having a movie marathon. Yeah we'd also be in front of our laptops the whole day, just surfing and chatting while watching but hey it's our kind of sisterly bonding. We rarely get to do that now and I miss it. It's reallly different here when she's around.
