I got my special National Bookstore Cut Price Book Blogger invite via email yesterday and I headed out to buy books earlier today. I learned that there was indeed a 1-day advance sale ongoing at National Bookstore but only on selected books that were pre-selected and placed on bins at the aisles. My special blogger’s pass allowed me to avail of the sticker discounts one day in advance. Here are my purchases:
Neil Gaiman’s Smoke and Mirrors, been wanting to buy this for the longest time. This would be the perfect read before retiring for the night.
While passing through the self-help section, this caught my eye. I know this is a very popular book. I gave in to my curiousity and well, I’ll see if this is really a good read.
Because this was my favorite childhood fairytale, and I lost my book before, I decided to buy one again. This is really nostalgic for me, brings back a lot of childhood memories.
I saw a book review before and I heard this was a very insightful read, I’m also sharing this book with my mom.
