I rode a Harley

During the Globe event at M Cafe, I answered the dare to be one of the brave souls to ride a harley. I chose to answer that wearing a dress. I saw the bikers pullout before I even thought that they were really hired for the Globe event. When they said the dare, my impulsiveness kicked in. Before I knew it, I was raising my hand and volunteering. It didn't matter that I was wearing a dress. I just jumped at the opportunity to be riding a real Harley.

The biker I was assigned to was really friendly and he assured me of my safety. The moment I got on that bike, I knew there wasn't any turning back. I know I looked dorky in that helmet. Hahaha. When we started moving, I could feel the power of the bike just by the vibrations and the loud humming (actually it wasn't a hum at all). The novelty of the ride wore off when I started getting honked upon and hooted at while we were on the road. That's the price I would have to pay right? I didn't think about that.

I got a bit scared when the biker started doing some sidewindings, ooh boy I was screaming. I was so afraid that we would skid off. The other bikers re-assured me that I was 100% safe. But still it didn't stop the loud thumping in my heart. For my first Harley riding experience, it was a blast but I know I would not do it again anytime soon, especially when I'm wearing a dress.
