Not so empty streets

It’s been a little over a week since typhoon Ondoy laid waste over some parts of Metro Manila and I’m still experiencing the aftermath of it. Each day, my travel time going to work which should have been only a 40min drive has turned into an hour and a half torture. Going home is even far worse, at rush hour my travelling time has sometimes been extended to 3 hours. I think it could have been the re-routing of some motorists to pass by Marcos Hi-way enroute to Marikina because some roads are still closed for mud and garbage clearing due to the floods before. Nothing I can do about it but it’s really aggravating. I really hope decongestion starts soon. For the meantime, I’ve compiled new playlist cds to keep me company while stuck in traffic to keep road rage at bay.
