See the meteor shower tonight at 11pm to 2am. Just make sure that your viewing area is dark enough so that you can see the meteors. The discovery of the Orionid meteor shower should be accredited to E.C. Herrick and was studied more closel by A.S. Herschel on 1864. The Orionid meteor shower is the second of two showers that occur each year as a result of Earth passing through dust released by Halley's Comet.
