Granted that I have the luxury and the means to just go leave everything behind and just travel and see the world, here's a list of places that I'd want to go to. I've compiled a bunch of pictures from the Lonely Planet website so that I can take you on a somewhat visual tour.
Ireland
Ever since I watched PS I love you, I got so curious with Ireland. All the lush greens featured in the movie, I wanted to see them up close plus I'd want to visit all the old castles.
Italy
I learned a lot about this country's history through its Period Architecture and Interiors, it would be nice to see all those architectural ornamentations and building styles. I'd like to be able to see all the famous landmarks and get lost in all that.
France
Of course I would like to see the famous Louvre Museum and I could just lose a day in it. I hope to someday visit the city of blinding lights with someone special. Paris is so romantic at night.
Greece
Greece is also very rich in history and I've seen just glimpses of it through some pretty famous movies. Aside from the classical temples, I also am very curious how modern Greece has integrated their historical heritage into modern times.
UAE
With all the developments going on that I see and hear all the time, I'd want to see all the innovations that they've done with their cities.
If you were to take a very long vacation, where would you want to go to?

I always want to see Denmark. Home of the LEGO factory or Italy which my last name originated as they say.
