I ate at this cafe for lunch during a small get-together with my College girlfriends one Sunday at Shangri-La mall. I've eaten once here before and it was only now that I got to try the other meals that have instantly become favorites. I'm a very picky eater and it's very unusual for me to like something the very first time I taste them. My choices usually when I eat out is something safe, something that I've had before so that I'll know I'll be able to finish it.
Lechon Kawali with Kangkong
Unexpectedly this new twist on an all-time favorite is quite good. The crispy lechon kawali was served in a bowl of kangkong leaves soaked in a dipping sauce. I didn't want the lechon kawali to get soaked too much and they lose the crispiness so i got it out of the bowl immediately and into my plate.
Crispy Tilapia
I've never seen tilapia served like this. It was breaded and one side was already cut up into serving pieces and also individually breaded and deep fried. I loved this.
