Last year I chose not to throw a lavish party for my birthday, instead I wanted just to chill and have the day off. Well, I had the day off from work, yes but the "chilling" part…hmmm I got a rush instead. As a surprise treat I got to go to a shooting range for my birthday and shoot LIVE bullets. I can still vaguely feel how the recoil from a 9mm pistol felt while I was aiming for the target.
My dad is a police officer and I'm no stranger around guns but firing them is a whole different matter. It is something you have to experience for yourself. The rush is soo much different. It's like you're excited and scared at the same time because one wrong slip and I could end up shooting someone. I remember I was afraid that my hands wouldn't be strong enough to take the recoil. The instructor at the Shooting Gallery at Makati Cinema Square was thankfully patient with me. It was one birthday I won't forget and probably the best surprise I got so far. I'm looking forward to November of this year, I wonder what adventure is in store for me then? ^_^

Hi John! Hahaha you sure know you're tech specs when it comes to guns. I've been meaning to go back but I just haven't found the time yet.
