In less than a hundred days...

Well that's how long it is before the National Elections and the campaign season is hitting an all time high. Candidates have been kicking it into high gear.

My usual scenic route going to work is now littered with campaign posters in every size and color. They're such an eyesore and it really ruins beautiful mornings. I was driving down Sumulong Hi-way earlier this morning and I was getting ticked off about the posters and I was thinking if the candidates opted for a paperless campaign then they would at least be helping the environment.

There's also this endless bantering about digging each other's corruption issues. Honestly, I can't take any more of the scheming and backstabbing. Loyalties are being shuffled faster than we care to keep track of. The noble purpose of serving the country is overshadowed by dirty politics. Too dirty.

And another thing that I noticed, the candidates running for office must've assumed that the voters have short-term memories. Roadworks and repairs are popping up everywhere. Cramming for last-minute accomplishment updates? *sigh* Come election season, it never changes. Same predictability. Same old lies and empty promises.
