I just got up from a nap that I took while watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets over at HBO. In just a few hours, we'll be welcoming a New Year. I can already hear the sounds of firecrackers outside. People are getting antsy I think.
2010 was a rollercoaster ride of all sorts for me. There were a lot of high and lows and I can't just think of one word to sum it all up. For the most part, I had to learn valuable lessons in looking at things maturely. I learned to cope, deal with pain and face the most treacherous of demons. I accepted challenges at work that would normally faze me. I made new friends and grew to love old ones more.
So here's to 2010, you were an amazing year but you were fleetingly fast. Thanks for the heartfelt memories though. Cheers to another great year ahead.
