Google’s Bunsen Logo

Has anyone noticed Google.com’s logo today? I still remember that time they paid a tribute to Jules Verne, that was an awesome concept. This time the website’s logo looks like this:

Google

Well, it might take a bit of imagination to work out the word “Google” there but this design is a tribute to Robert Bunsen’s 200th birthday. Together with his assistant Peter Desaga, they perfected a special gas burner which has been called - Bunsen burner which was a significant improvement for laboratories even from his time. Robert Bunsen is also known for his invention of the Bunsen-Kirchoff spectroscope, which later allowed him to discover new elements - cesium and rubidium. His spectroscope also gave way for other scientists to discover other new elements.
