A Look at the Green Lantern Movie Posters & Banners

Ryan Reynolds was pretty good as Wade/Deadpool in Xmen Origins: Wolverine, now let’s see if he can pull off Hal Jordan in the new Green Lantern movie which will be shown on June 16, 2011. There’s still a short period of wait while we await the first day of showing, but for now let’s take a look at the movie posters and banners.

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan (Reynolds).

As you can see, the Green Lantern Corps is a myriad of species, with Hal Jordan in the center. Again, the only human in the group. I have to note that looking at the aliens beside him, it would be interesting to find out what sets them apart.
