The Best Popcorn in the Metro

While out shopping with my sister on a weekend, we stumbled upon this popcorn kiosk at SM Megamall. What drew me in to take a closer look at the Chicago Popcorn Shop kiosk were the tin cans that the popcorns came in. I’ve always had a weakness to tin cans. Peering in, the popcorn looked really good and the kiosk lady graciously offered us a free taste.

After the first bite, my sister and I were immediately sold. We needed no more convincing. They’re probably the yummiest popcorn we’ve ever tasted. We bought a small tin can for Php 180 and the flavor that we chose was caramel with a mix of popcorn and almonds. Yes, almonds! It’s oh so good.

Since we only bought a small tin can, it lasted for only a day and I can’t wait to bring the tin can back for a refill. Next time around, I’ll the popcorn with the drizzle of chocolate. Chicago Popcorn Shop may be a bit pricey from the usual popcorns sold in the theaters and the other kiosks but it’s well worth your money. When it comes to taste and quality, Chicago Popcorn Shop comes out on top.
