Movie Review.

fastandfurious I've always been a fan of The fast and the furious franchise ever since the first movie came out. My favorite in the series is Tokyo Drift because I think it showed the most depth and content. (a lot of people might argue with me on this one) When it was announced that there was a fourth installment on the series coming out, I couldn't wait!

The movie was set to continue the plot after the first film. The cast reprised their roles with an entirely different story twist after four years. Dominic Torreto's (Vin Diesel) turf is now in the Dominican Republic, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) has gotten prettier and more buff and still rolling the streets with Dominic, Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) is now (apparently always have been) an FBI agent and Mia Torreto (Jordana Brewster) still lives at their old hometown. The appearance of Han Lue (Sung Kang) ties Tokyo Drift to this movie.

(L to R) Dominic Toretto (VIN DIESEL) reaches for Letty (MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ) during a car chase in the high-octane action-thriller "Fast & Furious". The story revolved around to Dom's quest to avenge the death of Letty which propelled him to the world of underground streetracing and drug trafficking. This coincidentally is also the case that Brian is working on. There are enough car chases and action to go around. The plot is simple yet engaging for fans like me. Although I have to admit that it's a bit of a stretch. I guess there's no more fifth installment. This is as far as it goes. It's been a fun ride.

All in all, this was a good movie to watch, not great because something's lacking at one point. It's worth buying on DVD if you want to complete your collection though.

My verdict: thumbs_upthumbs_upthumbs_up
