Location: Serendra Piazza

I sought comfort from my friends when I was at my lowest point inside this restaurant. I chose to meet them here because I previously read a review about their food from the clickthecity website. Sans the emotional heartache aside, I had a pretty nice dining experience while we were there.

The Interiors

My first impression was that it had a kind of shabby chic theme mixed with a lot of eclectic elements. The chairs were mismatched, paintings were a mix of abstract and romanticism. The main wall color had a cool pastel green hue and light creamy wainscotting.

I tried their mango salad first and it was sooo yummy. The unexpected mix of the mangoes and feta cheese are absolutely great on the palette. Priced at Php 215.00 only, this is definitely a must recommend item.

mango salad I also ordered their Salmon Blueberry Brown Rice. I think this is going to be their trademark dish. I was curious at first and slightly doubtful but I loved it. The taste was different, but in a good way. I'm just never accustomed to salmon being mixed with blueberries. If you happen to be dining at this restaurant, be sure to try this out and judge the taste for yourself. This dish is priced at Php320.00, a bit pricey but well worth it.

Aside from the good food, I also loved their organic coffee...and it's refillable! I had about 3 cups the entire length of our stay there. It was that good. They serve it on individual presses and a well-sized cup.

Extras

They offer free wifi access and the connection is fast. The staff are extra friendly and I noticed that most of their customers are foreigners. I'd surely go back to this place when I'm at serendra again. Their resto is a perfect spot to enjoy a good salad, good coffee and just blog the hours away on a lazy afternoon.
