Sometimes it's a good thing to give yourself a whole new makeover, paired with starting a whole new life. This is inspired by a post from Ivillage's Beauty and Style section.

  • Untitled Start from within. Inner and outer beauty is expressed spontaneously when body, mind and spirit are in balance. These can be helped by meditation or Yoga.
  • Add some color. A quick update on your look if you don't want to get a new haircut is to add some new color highlights or to drastically change the color anyhow.
  • eyebrows Shape your brows. You won't believe how a little plucking and tweaking can give your eyes an instant lift. Subtle changes in your brow shape can also infuse a dramatic change in your face.
  • Style Yourself Sexy. Adding extensions will create fullness and texture; cutting bangs can create softness around the face, while layers make for instant sexiness and playfulness. “Keeping your hairstyle fresh will keep you younger looking and help you to feel like the most beautiful women on earth."
  • Whiten Your Teeth. Lunchtime whitening is the new "It" treatment among urban fashionistas and a great way to instantly zap a little sexy into your appearance.
  • hair-part Do Your Part. Flipping your part to the other side, moving it deeper toward the ear or zigzagging it will give your hair lift and will change the way your hair frames your face.
  • Lose a Size Instantly. Spanx may be all the rage, but it's not the only way to go slim. Tummy Tuck Jeans slim the lower abdomen, contour the hips and lift the butt via a special crisscross panel technology. It's magic that makes you look like you have been going to the gym, even if you really just indulged in a cupcake!
  • eyeglasses Wear Glasses. "Glasses are a fun and practical way to update and transform your look," says Lisa Gear, style expert for LensCrafters. "From 'new-retro' cat-eye frames to bold bright colors, glasses are a smart fashion accessory to express your personal style, whether it's casual or sophisticated."
  • glass-of-water Imbibe in Water. If you don't already, drink up! "I drink at least 10 to 12 glasses a day,” says Lisa Lillien, founder of Hungry-Girl.com and author of Hungry Girl: Recipes and Survival Strategies for Guilt-Free Eating in the Real World. ”It keeps my skin looking good and makes me feel energized. And drinking a few glasses of water before meals keeps your appetite in check."
  • Learn an Instrument. Learning an instrument can be more fun and happen quicker than you'd imagine and it's a great way to instantly reinvent yourself.
