At the Sherlock Holmes 2 Premiere

By Cher Cabula-Mendoza - Friday, January 06, 2012

Last night I attended the press screening for the movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows at Glorietta. I got the early bird award for arriving 2 1/2 hours too early for the screening time. Haha. I used that spare time instead to go on a hunt for incense. Who knew that it was that hard to find in Glorietta. Anyway, I finally found one at Sleepcare which was selling them at 20% off. I chose the cylinder with the violet color and labelled “Love”. It didn’t turn out to be a good buy though because when I used it at home, it smelled like old clothes kept in the closet for such a long time. Definitely not “love”.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is my first movie for the year 2012 and I’m glad that it was. Surefire way to kickstart a great year of good movies. We’re three weeks delayed from the other countries because of the Metro Manila Film Festival but hey the wait was worth it. The movie was really good, even better than the first one (and the first already set the bar high). I’ll be writing my review of it soon, expect a rave about it.

Since I didn’t have my camera with me and I was too lazy to take pics on my own phone, here are the ones that my friends took.
