How do you relax after a rough day?

We all have them whether we like to or not and yesterday was rougher than usual for me. I detest it when my Mondays don’t start out good because it usually carries within the week. I’m not much into superstition and all that stuff but this is just something that I’ve noticed happening several times before. Yesterday started out with me in a real good mood because I was able to wake up early and was on the road by 6am but unluckily enough, it took me 3 hours to get to the office. I had thought that I would be getting there much much earlier. On normal days, it usually just takes me 2 hours even with heavy traffic, but yesterday...oh man. It was so bad that I even resorted to playing some games on my phone just so I wouldn’t get too caught up in a bad mood and distract myself.


Then at work my tasks piled up on top of the other and I mostly worked highly stressed and drained by the end of the day. To make matters worse, my stomach was getting a bit upset again and I was really uncomfortable from all the spasms. Also I had to deal with personal matters in the afternoon. I wouldn’t go into details on that because it’s just so disheartening but in summary, it left me without spirit or heart for several hours.

So when I got home from the premiere of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last night, I was more than happy to call it a day. I was looking forward to sinking my head into my pillows and curling up with a warm blanket on my bed. Before doing that though, I pampered myself with a quick shower. I love love love the smell of Olay’s Moisturizing Body Wash Purely Pristine. Just one quick whiff melts the tension in my body away and after that I just feel so refreshed. I bought a huge bottle last November and up until now I’m only halfway through. Although I’ve used several kinds and brands before, I think I’m going to stick with this one.
