Little Photo Free Android Photography App Review

By Cher Cabula-Mendoza - Saturday, January 14, 2012

I have a lot of photography apps in my phone and one of them is Little Photo. Little Photo is free from the Android Market and it has a whole lot of features that you can give a try. Upon opening the app, you will be prompted if you would like to choose a photo from the gallery or just shoot a new one. Once done so, just touch the photo to bring up the menu window. This appears on the right side of the screen, you can choose the number of filters and effects that the app has to offer.

What I like about this app is the great host of plug-ins, filters and effects that it has. I’m not kidding about how many they are. Of all the photography apps that I have, this by far has the most number. You can try out all of the filters just by reloading the original photo until you’ve decided on the effect that you like best then you can apply it.

You can also choose to apply effects to an existing photo in your gallery. This will not overwrite the original photo because the default save folder for Little Photo is in a different directory.

You can share your finished photo through various social apps.

When in a hurry, you might forget to save your photo before exiting the app, unfortunately sometimes the photo doesn’t automatically get saved.

Sometimes too, original photos get corrupted. So it’s best to review the photo gallery first.

Although it might have its share of bugs and shortcomings, Little Photo remains to be one of the good photography apps in the Android Market today. Here’s to hoping that the developers might give a facelift and update to it real soon.
