J. Edgar

This is the story of the public and private life of  J. Edgar Hoover (Leonardo DiCaprio) who will rise to become the head of the FBI for 50 years and he was revered as one of the most powerful and influential man of the 20th Century. We’ll get to see dark secrets and how a man makes decisions that could eventually mean risk or safety for his beloved country.

The Apparition

A young couple (Ashley Greene and Sebastian Stan) begins to experience paranormal activity in their home which they soon discover was a result of a university parapsychology experiment. They sought help from a paranormal expert (Tom Felton), but it seems that his help was now going to be too late.

The Lucky One

This is perhaps the most adult role I’ve seen Zac Efron in. He plays the role of Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault who returns to a town after serving in Iraq. His will to live fueled by a photograph of a woman he doesn’t know. He tracked down who she was and where she lives. Beth (Taylor Schilling) soon falls for the charming man and Logan wishes she’s more than his lucky charm.

The Gangster Squad

In 1949, Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) is the mob-king who runs the show in Los Angeles. He’s got guns, loot, goons and prostitutes and no one can touch him with all the cops and politicians in his pocket. However a small crew of renegade LAPD decides to fight back led by Sgt. John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling). The film also stars Emma Stone, the lady who will soon find herself in the middle of unwanted attention.

Southern Rivals

Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis will try to best each other as political rivals in a district in South Carolina.

Ben Affleck stars and directs this film-adaptation of true-to-life events telling of a covert operation to rescue six Americans during the Iran hostage crisis. Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) is a CIA "exfiltration" specialist tasked with rescuing the six Americans who sought refugee at the home of a Canadian ambassador.

Burt Wonderstone

Jim Carrey and Steve Carell are back together to make us laugh again in this comedy flick. The movie deals with the rivalry of stage magician teams in Las Vegas. The titular Wonderstone, is one half of a two-man group who has to rediscover his love of magic after the loss of his partner.

Similar to the plot of Taken (Liam Neeson), a father (Michael Fassbender) takes upon the role of a vigilante when he abducts a man whom he suspects as the one who kidnapped and took his eight-year-old daughter and her best friend.

Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone--tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth...and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
