The Girl in the Spider's Web Kicks off New Adaptation for the Millennium Series

One of the best and unforgettable book characters for me is Lisbeth Salander and she took the literary world by storm with the release and completion of the Millennium Series by Stieg Larsson. When the Swedish films came out, I took the time to watch them even with English subtitles and when Rooney Mara came out with an English film adaptation which was a remake of the Swedish film, I went out to see it on the big screen.

Now it seems that they're adapting the next books in the Millennium Series in the English format since the first three books in the movie have been made, Swedish. Claire Foy will play the iconic role of Lisbeth Salander as she once again finds herself a myriad of deceit and intrigue while she's in the employ of a scientist.

Lisbeth works alongside her unlikely ally, the journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Sverrir Gudnason) as she seeks answers about the mission, her attackers and her past. The Girl in the Spider's Web will open in theaters on November 21st and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
